  • Jesus asked his disciples, “Who do you say that I am?”

  • It’s so unfortunate that the term ‘church’ in its current form showed up in our New Testament.

  • Jesus did not predict a place; He predicted a people, a gathering, a community.

  • In the first English translation of the Bible, you don’t find “church,” you find “congregation.”
