Our family just took a short vacation to Lake Barkley in Kentucky. While we were there, we ventured over to the Land Between the Lakes. As part of our day there, we spent a few hours at The Homeplace – 1850. While we enjoyed looking at the numerous old buildings and examining the way life was lived over 150 years ago, the highlight of the time for our girls were the sheep. Our girls smiled from ear to ear as they felt the soft wool and watched the sheep meander throughout the farm. While watching my daughters delight over their adventure, I was reminded of the powerful love of God.
